Aquasol^® Corporation Introduces EZ Zone^TM Tape

Aquasol^® Corporation has introduced EZ Zone^TM Tape for sealing the root gap between pipes. The halogen- and fluorocarbon-free aluminum tape is composed of two adhesive sections on the outside, separated by an adhesive-free center zone. The adhesive edges stick to the area surrounding the root gap on stainless steel and aluminum pipes with the adhesive free zone placed over the weld. The tape is available in 2.5-in. and 4.0-in. widths.

Because the adhesive never comes in contact with the pipe as it is welded, it creates a clean, contamination-free weld.

The company also has launched EZ Tape^TM, which is a halogen-free aluminum tape fully coated with adhesive to serve the same purpose. This product is available in 2-in. width.
